We offer pre purchase drainage surveys which is a non-destructive inspections that uses a CCTV camera to inspect the drainage system of a property.

The inspection can identify any potential problems within the drain runs such as blockages, leaks, or structural damage.

The drainage engineer will use a CCTV camera to inspect the drains from access points such as manholes or inspection chambers.

The camera will then transmit to a monitor, allowing the engineer to see the condition of the drains in real time and will be recorded for you to view the inspection.  Further to this you will receive a written report highlighting the following:

  1. Drainage layout to the property

  2. What the pipes are made of, their size, and their overall condition

  3. Whether there’s a build-up of debris or deposits within the drainage runs

  4. If there’s a build-up of scale, which can lead to a blockage or corrosion

  5. Whether there are any damaged, broken or misaligned joints

  6. If tree roots have entered the system, such as through a leaky pipe

  7. If any drains have collapsed

Once you have enquired with us we will provide you with available dates for the specialist surveys to be undertaken. It is then your responsibility to organise these survey dates with the vendor/seller of the property.
